Why we’re different

The right tool depends on your size. Here’s an honest look at the field, so you can tell where you actually fit.

Method CRM

A workflow layer on top of QuickBooks Online or Desktop.

Method is a solid, generic CRM for QuickBooks users — leads, work orders, invoicing sync. It isn't built for a distributor's shape: it doesn't run receiving against a purchase order, doesn't drive a dispatch board, and doesn't pick an order on a phone. This platform replaces Method and does more — today, specifically for QuickBooks Desktop. If you're on QuickBooks Online, Method remains the better fit until that support is built.

Epicor BisTrack / ECI Spruce

Deep, purpose-built lumber & building-material ERPs.

These are real, capable systems — and the right choice once you're big enough to justify the cost. They typically run a six-figure implementation, price per seat, and sell through a quote-only process. They also usually replace QuickBooks outright rather than working alongside it.

Rundoo

A modern, venture-backed, all-in-one platform.

Well-funded and well-built. But it replaces your general ledger — your books live in their system, not yours. If that company changes direction, raises prices, or shuts down, your accounting goes with it.

Where we sit

If you’re at the size where BisTrack or Spruce makes sense, talk to them — they’re good at what they do. If you’re still running QuickBooks with spreadsheets, Method, and a separate Excel workbook per customer, wondering if there’s something built specifically for a distributor without asking you to give up your accounting — that’s exactly who we built this for. Unlimited users, priced per location, at a tenth the cost of the big ERPs. Doing more with less is the whole point — the system should be how you get there, not another expense fighting you.
